EVENT DESCRIPTION
Let’s have a party! On Saturday August 17, the Digital Dabblers will be flocking to the Dabney State Recreation Area for some fun and relaxation. Join us for picnicking, swimming, floating, disc golf, hiking and more!
FOOD MENU
• Burgers (veggie and beef)
• Hot Dogs
• Soft Tacos (chicken and veggie)
• Pizza
• Fruit/Salad
• Cookies
• Chips (Lays, the usual)
• You are welcome to bring your own food potluck style if you’re wanting to have something beyond the above options.
DRINK MENU
• Polar Seltzer (Mandarin, Strawberry Lemon, etc.)
• Soda (Coke, Sprite, diet Dr. Pepper)
• Bottled water
• Aeropress coffee
• BYOB (alcohol will not be provided but you are welcome to bring your own).
ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
• 10-10:30 Unpacking/Setup
• 10:30-Noon: Party kickoff and games/activities start (disc golf, swimming, hiking/walking, horseshoes, arts/crafts, etc.). Snacks/drinks in cooler.
• Lunch at Noon
• Dabblers Special Short Film Premiere 12:30pm!!!
• Raffle 1pm
• Mass exodus no later than 2:30
CARPOOLING
For carpooling, event organizers will meet at Honey Latte Cafe at 9AM. We will aim to be at Dabney State Park by 10AM. We can sort out food and transportation on the group’s Discord.
Parking is $5 per vehicle and is limited to first come/first serve. Permits are purchased on site (recommend bringing cash).
RULES
• No pets allowed (service animals only)
• Consumption of alcohol allowed by persons 21 and over.
• Smoking tobacco products only allowed in vehicles, in accordance with all applicable laws governing smoking in vehicles
• Please bring a positive attitude, make sure to clean up after yourself and have fun!
