EVENT DESCRIPTION
Hello Digital Dabblers new and longstanding, It’s that special time of year for our second annual Holiday Art Exchange!!
Feel free to drop-by anytime in this 3hr window in our private meeting space for a Saturday Social! Here we will be revealing who our “secret santa” was and offer that person your piece.
ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS ARE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN and participate!

HOW IT WORKS!
- FIRST, make sure to join our Discord server. Next, checkout our pinned holiday art exchange thread going over details of the art exchange.
- Next, put your preferences for the type of art you hope to receive (you can request a style, medium, even include a photo if you want someone to try and draw/paint you!)
- Once RSVP’s are closed and we have tagged all participants Daniel will DM you with a link to reveal who your “secret santa” is. DON’T share this with anyone.
- Next, return to the thread and see what your secret santa put down for their preferences on art
- You have a max work time of ~8hrs to complete a piece before the start of the event on December 21st, 2024.
NOTE, if your art is purely digital please drop your piece in the chat and tag the person you got with @personyougot. Can’t wait to see the results! We will be meeting in the Dabblers main space in-person for an optional potluck but no pressure to bring anything.
If you are unable to complete your piece (for any reason), please kindly message the person you got with an apology. For folks joining virtually we will be streaming in the Create and Chat voice channel on Discord. Hope to see you there!
RULES
- Don’t make someone feel bad if you don’t like the piece they gave you. Please be respectful of the time/energy and personal style that someone chose to use.
- Going along with rule #1 is be respectful to your peers. The point of this event is to make something for someone else and try your best.
- Have fun!
HOW TO FIND US
Make your way to the entrance (in-between My Fathers Place and Slow Bar) and search for DIGITAL DABBLE on the door buzzer. We will be upstairs (follow the sign) PLEASE CALL FOR ASSISTANCE IF YOU NEED TO USE THE ELEVATOR.
FAQ
- Does my art have to be Digital? Nope! You can make whatever you want (but try to make something that your secret Santa asked for).
- What happens if I don’t complete my piece in-time? Please let the person know and offer a sincere apology. Life happens.
- What happens if my secret Santa did not complete a piece for me? Please be understanding of other people’s circumstances and try not to take it personally.
