EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Join us for our 2 year anniversary celebration at the Wacom Experience Center! Several members of the Digital Dabblers community will be demo’ing their projects, and showcasing their art! We will have an online art jam, mini tutorials, and an introduction to our Guild.
Wacom is also offering FREE coffee, donuts, drinks and a snack platter to celebrate our milestone!!! Hope you can join us.
AGENDA:
- 10am – 11:30am: Social and Collaborative Art Jam (via Magma.com). Wacom has 15 internet connected tablets that are first-come-first-serve. Anyone can join us on a personal device as well! https://magma.com/d/tpl7ViwsqP
- 11:30 – Noon: Break/Intermission!
- Noon: Presentation about the history of Digital Dabblers!
- 12:15 – 1pm: About 15 members will be showcasing their work in 3min time slots. This may include art, process demo’s, 3 min video, etc. A link to the showcase/presentation webpage will be provided when the event starts.
- 1pm to ~1:20pm: Josh’s demo project for Godot (an open source alternative to Unity!).
- 1:20-2:30pm: Jacob and Daniel’s Blender 3d and 2d LIVE mini Tutorial and Demo!
- 2:30pm – 3:00pm: Closing raffle, thanks to our supporters, partners and Wacom for hosting us!!, Q/A, AMA
