Blender is cross-platform and runs equally well on Linux, Windows, and Mac computers. But before you arrive make sure your OS supports the latest version of Blender 3.6.2 LTS. Which can be downloaded here: https://www.blender.org/download/.
If you need a laptop or drawing tablet we have two spare lab computers, and three plug-in tablets that can be rented for use during the workshop.
WHAT IS BLENDER?
Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation. Blender is licensed as GNU GPL, owned by its contributors. For that reason Blender is Free and Open Source software, forever.
